‘Racially aggravated assault and abuse’: Tulsi Gabbard’s friend wanted by London cops after allegedly pepper-spraying mom with stroller

This MAGA star could be facing years in a British prison.

London cops launched a public appeal on Sunday, announcing they were hunting for a man and a woman who they said had racially abused a mom with kids and assaulted her with pepper spray. The incident – described as “racially aggravated assault and abuse” – took place at Bond Street Underground in the early evening on Oct. 11:

As per London’s Evening Standard, the 34-year-old victim was entering the tube station with her sister and two young children, one with a disability and another in a stroller. The two suspects were walking across the station, apparently not paying attention to their surroundings when the blonde woman collided with the stroller. The British Transport Police spokesman says:

“The man then began shouting racial abuse at the victim and her family, before the woman grabbed her hair. When the victim tried to defend herself, the man pulled out a small bottle and said it was pepper spray before spraying it in the direction of the victim and her family. The woman shouted abuse and made lewd gestures at them before both parties left the area.”

British law classifies pepper spray as a firearm-style offensive weapon, so simply carrying it can draw a minimum six-month prison sentence. Using it on someone while committing a hate crime could push this to a minimum of two years behind bars.

Who could have possibly predicted they’d be MAGA…?

So, who are these horrible people? The internet quickly named them as Philip Ostermann and Melissa Rein Lively. Ostermann is the associate director of a Munich-based private equity firm, and Rein Lively is a die-hard MAGA Trump supporter who was almost Trump’s White House spokesperson before Karoline Leavitt pipped her to the post.

On top of all that, she’s one of Tulsi Gabbard’s friends!

Rein Lively’s Instagram account is now private and all of her other socials have gone dark. It certainly seems like she and Ostermann are currently evading the cops, as there’s no indication they’ve turned themselves in for questioning. What’ll happen next is anyone’s guess, but we wouldn’t put it past the Trump administration to put political pressure on the British government to let her leave the country and dodge justice.

But let’s be optimistic and hope that she will indeed end up behind bars if convicted of this vile assault. If it happened as described, she sounds like a vile human being.
