This conflict between official statements and recorded evidence is fueling the outrage, making people question the entire operation and the tactics used in a school environment. This wasn’t just a brief stop; agents were seen entering the school grounds at Roosevelt High, according to Kare11.

You can’t help but think about the safety of the students who are just trying to get an education. When you look at the evidence, you see a clear contradiction. On one side, you have DHS firmly stating that their agents did not use tear gas. On the other side, you have witnesses who were there, who saw the events unfold, and who have documented video evidence suggesting chemical agents were absolutely used.

This difference isn’t minor; it’s the difference between a routine enforcement action and a massive overreach involving the injury of innocent bystanders. You just can’t have operations like this without being fully accountable for the methods used. When I was in law enforcement, you had to justify everything you did during a use of force. I’m not seeing the justification for using any kind of force like this on a minor.

ICE killed a woman already for less than a justifiable reason, so it’s no surprise they have no problem targeting children.
