Is Trump losing his propoganda war?: Only a small minority of Americans believe killing of Renee Good was justified

Turns out most Americans sympathize with Renee Nicole Good and don't agree with ICE.

For some reason federal agents gunning down an innocent civilian in broad daylight has divided the country. What should be a unanimous condemnation of the current administration and the thuggery which it perpetuates through ICE has seen a great deal of disagreement as the government has pushed the narrative that shooter Jonathan Ross was justified in killing Renee Nicole Good.

However, the people who support the ICE shooter are thankfully in the minority as shown by a recent YouGov poll. Out of the Americans asked about the subject, 91% had heard about the incident involving an ICE agent shooting a woman (the other 9% are apparently living under a rock).

Of those who responded 50% stated that they thought the killing of Good was not justified, 20% answered not sure and 30% believed that her death was justified. While that number is still alarmingly high considering the video footage should be enough to prove who was in the wrong, the silver lining is that those people are at least in the minority.

What do Americans really think about ICE?

So let’s delve into the rest of the poll results shall we? When asked whether they thought ICE were making America more or less safe, 47% responded less safe while 34% responded more safe. A very slim majority would also support abolishing ICE (46%) compared to those who oppose the idea (43%).

Another poll conducted by Yahoo/YouGov provided even more damning numbers for MAGA as it showed only 27% thought Good’s killing was justified while double that (54%) thought it wasn’t.

Donald Trump’s propaganda machine is failing

The past week has felt like a bizarre nightmare as people continue to push the story that Renee Nicole Good was trying to use her vehicle as a weapon and that Jonathan Ross’ actions were justified. Trump even made a heartless statement the next day blaming Good for her own death. Now it seems the people are at long last waking up to the president’s lies.

The data from these polls tells us that clearly opinions are changing. It seems a very vocal minority are manipulating the narrative, unfortunately that minority includes most of the government. However, most Americans aren’t buying the bogus story being pushed by Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, and the rest.

The majority of people disagree with the current administration and yet still there has been no justice for Renee, still there has been no apology from Trump. It’s almost as if he wants to turn the entire country against him.
