ICE snatches, imprisons MAGA influencer who insisted only ‘crooks’ should be afraid

For MAGA, ICE’s brutal assaults against men, women, and children they suspect are in the country illegally are the best entertainment around.

After all, who needs the WWE when you can watch an armored ICE thug shoot a pastor in the head with pepper spray balls? What’s the point of reality TV when you can go on social media and squeal like a happy hog as you watch government goons literally tearing a baby out of his father’s arms? Why not get your kicks from smearing an innocent mother-of-three as a “domestic terrorist” after she gets shot in the head?

It’s all fun and games. Well, right up until ICE comes for you. Enter Júnior Pena, a Brazilian influencer living in New Jersey with 1.3 million TikTok followers and 500,000 on Instagram. His channel documents the “reality of the USA” as an immigrant, so you might anticipate he’d be opposed to everything Trump does.

The reality is quite the opposite. Pena confirmed he “supports” Trump and says “I like the guy”. He also declared that law-abiding immigrants have nothing to fear from ICE, reassuring his listeners that they only have to be worried if they’re a “crook”:

“I wanted to tell you not to be so scared, there are many people scared. There are many influencers spreading fear among immigrants without having facts, evidence, or proof that so-and-so was deported.” 

You can probably guess what’s just happened. Yup, the heavy hand of consequences just knocked on Pena’s front door, along with a gang of ICE goons who hauled him off to a detention center.

It’s just an administrative mix-up!

As reported by the Brazilian Times, Pena’s friend insists that this is merely just a mix-up relating to an “administrative problem” relating to an immigration hearing he didn’t attend. As he explained (via Google Translate): “The lawyer should have confirmed that the postponement of the hearing was correctly recorded in the system.”

But excuses don’t currently mean much to Pena, who is now locked up in Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey. Naturally, this is some powerful schadenfreude from someone who assumed he was “one of the good ones” and that Trump’s goons wouldn’t come for him.

Remember, ICE simply doesn’t care if you support Trump. What they care about is the color of your skin, your accent, and your ability to speak English. You could be the biggest Trump-hat wearing cheerleader around, and they’ll celebrate as you’re bundled into the back of an ICE van, tossed into a filthy and overcrowded cell, then deported to who knows where.
