‘A fallen warria of world. Of wars. And really, terra’: Trump now fully incoherent in slurred, confused attempt at speech

The president's brain is not well.

Donald Trump is the most powerful man in the world, with the power of life and death over all of us. Unfortunately, he is visibly losing his grip on reality, and his brain and body are deteriorating by the day.

This shouldn’t come as a shock. Trump is fast approaching his 80th birthday, has one of the highest-pressure jobs on the planet, is visibly suffering from multiple health conditions, proudly leads an unhealthy life, and is surrounded by yes-men with a vested interest in keeping him in power no matter what the true state of his health is.

Is it any surprise the man’s brain is turning to goo? We’re all now familiar with Trump’s word salad speeches that ramble on in no particular direction about sharks, the late great Hannibal Lecter, invisible jets, and so on. But yesterday, while attempting to praise a soldier, he fully descended into total incoherence:

You could argue that Trump has a lot on his plate right now. There’s the ongoing Epstein saga, the cratering economy, and the Supreme Court slapping down his tariff plans. Oh yeah, and the whole starting a war with Iran thing that’s left the Middle East in flames.

But even if you’re minded to be sympathetic and understanding about an old man struggling keep up with a stressful, demanding job, his being unable to actually speak coherently proves he is incapable of carrying out the functions of being a president.

If only there were a recent example to learn from

Imagine if a former president had been this confused-looking, doddery, and mush-mouthed in public? Oh, wait, we don’t have to imagine that, as this exact kind of behavior characterized the final year of Joe Biden’s presidency. The reaction from the right (and from Trump himself)? That he was clearly unable to carry out his role as president and must be replaced.

If you argued that for Biden, you must now apply the same standards to Trump. The man is slipping, we’re at a crucial situation for the future of the nation, and he simply cannot cognitively function at the required level. And yes, that probably means President JD Vance, so not exactly an upgrade. But this current situation is humiliating for both the nation, Trump’s supporters, and his loved ones.
