Texas woman – who went viral for wearing a MAGA hat with her wedding dress – charged with sexual abuse of 5yo girl

Madison Paige Jones has been indicted on 19 counts relating to alleged child sexual abuse.

A woman who went viral for wearing one of Donald Trump’s infamous red MAGA caps on her wedding day has since been charged with child sexual abuse. Madison Paige Jones, 30, and her boyfriend, Zackery Dondlinger, 37, have been indicted by Texas authorities on a handful of charges related to alleged sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl.

Jones, a former substitute teacher, has been indicted on 19 counts which include aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual contact with a child and possession with intent to promote child pornography as per People. Meanwhile her boyfriend has been charged with 20 similar counts. The pair are currently being held on incredibly high bonds, $3.84 million for Jones, and $5 million for Dondlinger.

The couple were arrested in December of last year after police in Midlothian, Texas, received an anonymous report via phone.

Jones had been a substitute teacher for Midlothian ISD, and worked at a few schools in the district prior to her arrest. According to Pink News a spokesperson for the district claimed that she had only worked four days over the past year and that her charges were not related to her time working at the Midlothian ISD campus.

Madison Paige Jones’ prior viral notoriety

Before her arrest, Jones had already gained notoriety in a viral Facebook post which showed her at a wedding reception, wearing a wedding dress while also donning a red cap that read “Trump.”

Almost instantly, after her arrest, anti-right wing groups on social media drew attention to the bizarre stunt she pulled at her wedding. On X, several individuals made remarks linking the MAGA movement and pedophilia. “It’s beginning to look like that being MAGA and being involved in some kind of sex crime go hand in hand,” wrote one person.

While many would argue that Jones’ politics have little to do with the heinous crime she is accused of, it’s not hard to see why people are making such a connection. Donald Trump’s alleged involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking and the government’s failure to release the Epstein files has led to some disastrous PR for all Republicans, but especially MAGA. another X user referred to the GOP as the “Gang of Pedophiles.”

Jones confessed to the sexual abuse, claiming that she did so under the direction of Dondlinger. She stated that he was having sexual fantasies about the child. Both Madison Paige Jones and Zackery Dondlinger are set to stand trial in the future although there currently is no date for when that will be exactly.
