‘God I’m sorry’: Despondent Trump voter pleads for forgiveness, concludes ‘voting is stupid’

This voter is SHOCKED that Donald Trump lied to him.

Voting for Donald Trump in 2024 is becoming an embarrassing black mark on millions of voter’s lives – a moral stain that can never be fully scrubbed away.

Each day more and more Americans realize they screwed up big time, whether that be your jaw dropping when you see the cost of filling up your tank, getting your deployment orders to fight in Iran, finding you no longer have healthcare, or – heck – just turning on the news to see the visibly unhinged president telling the nation “Praise be to Allah!” on Easter Sunday.

As a snapshot of widespread disillusion with Trump across the political spectrum, see this post from “fanatical isolationist and nationalist” Bryce M. Lipscomb, who enthusiastically voted for Trump in 2024. He was swayed by Trump’s non-interventionalist “America First” policies, hoping for lower gas prices, RFK Jr to “fix the vaccine schedule”, and reduced government spending.

What did he get? The exact opposite!

Wow, Bryce, you mean the guy who’s inarguably the most famous liar on the planet… lied to you?! C’mere buddy, I have a fantastic deal on a bridge for you!

Oops, fooled again!

Each day, more and more former MAGA purists wake up and realize, to their horror, that the Emperor not only has no clothes, but that he’s actively soiling himself before your very eyes. Then comes the dawning guilt: “Uh-oh, maybe we shouldn’t have given this moron the keys to the world’s largest nuclear arsenal”.

Expect this feeling to spread in the coming months as things inevitably get worse, prices skyrocket, and gas becomes increasingly unaffordable. Republicans are currently sweating over the very real prospect of a wipe-out in the November midterms, potentially handing Democrats control of the House and Senate. This would greatly reduce Trump’s power overnight and should theoretically prevent him from doing too much more damage.

To Bryce’s credit, he’s owned up to his mistake, but many former hardcore MAGAs will just quietly put their red cap in the trash and suddenly become very quiet over what they did and said during the 2024 election.

However, it can only be underlined that just because someone has belatedly realized that Trump is a lying, dangerous, unhinged idiot, that doesn’t mean they’ve transformed into a Democrat. Most likely, they’ll simply remain at home on voting day or give their vote to a third-party or single-issue candidate.

And when Trump is finally gone, you can bet they’ll be right back at the Republican Party, gazing starry-eyed at the next incompetent and evil lunatic they put up for election.

But perhaps American politics doesn’t have Bryce M. Lipscomb to worry about anymore. In a later post, he concluded, “Voting is stupid. Nothing changes”. We can only hope he sticks by this realization and that this dangerously gullible individual stays far, far away from any voting booth for the foreseeable future.
