Delaware woman cooks dinner for a guy she’d been seeing. Then she pulled back the covers the next morning: ‘I almost didn’t say anything’

Apparently, cooking for a date comes with risks.

A Delaware resident named MegzSpice recently shared a dating disaster on TikTok that has the internet split between laughing and feeling absolutely horrified. The TikToker posted a video detailing a date night that ended in a truly messy situation, and it has already racked up over 2 million views. It is the kind of story that reminds us all why dating can be such a wild ride.

The trouble started when MegzSpice decided to host a dinner for a man she had been seeing for a while. She wanted to impress him, so she put a lot of effort into preparing a meal she thought she had finally perfected. Things actually seemed to be going well at first, as he enjoyed the food, but the night took a turn when he began making multiple, lengthy trips to the bathroom.

She recounted, “He’s in there for a good 30 minutes. I mean like whatever I really don’t care. I have IBS I really don’t give a s–t about someone s–tting. You gotta do what you gotta do.” Even after he helped with the dishes, he returned to the bathroom for another 20 or 30 minutes. Despite the frequent interruptions, she remained hopeful about the evening.

It only goes downhill from here

The real shock arrived the next morning. When she pulled back the covers to get up for tea, she discovered a mess left behind in her bed. She mentioned, “I’m weird like this I don’t wanna make things awkward so I almost didn’t say anything, but he turned around at the same time and literally saw me like in shock horror and was like, oh, did you do that?”

When she told him he was responsible, he shifted the blame onto her, claiming she should have had baby wipes available in her bathroom. She was not having it. “Sir, if you need wipes, if that’s your thing, carry them with you.” She ended up telling him it was time for him to head back to the dating sites. After this ordeal, she has decided to retire from cooking on dates entirely.

The comment section has been a total whirlwind. Some viewers were genuinely grossed, while others could not stop wondering what exactly she had cooked that might have caused such a reaction.

Meghan Marx asked, “Why? Why are you posting this?” while Chantelle Evans wrote, “I love celibacy so much at this moment.” Others were focused on the logistics of the situation. Leasy noted, “Cant be your food, takes at least 6hours for a meal to digest doesn’t it? 🤔”

The debate over bathroom etiquette also heated up. sylvianicoleperei pointed out, “Everyone’s saying wipes. What happened to an actual shower???” Not everyone was siding against the guest, though. lynn.021 commented, “Shame, poor guy. I would’ve gone home if my tummy was upset.”

It is safe to say this is one date MegzSpice will not be forgetting anytime soon. At least this date did not include bathroom trauma for her. Nor was it a situation where she got involved in a crime. So, If you are planning on hosting a dinner date, maybe just stick to takeout to avoid any potential drama.
