‘He looks deceased’: Woman gets notification from door camera at 3AM, what she sees makes her blood run cold

People on TikTok were horrified by the creepy face.

A woman on TikTok received the fright of her life after getting a notification from her door cam app at nearly three in the morning. When she checked to see what had triggered the camera she saw a terrifying face scowling back at her.

In a post from April Melody explains that she believes somebody followed her home after she got back late into the night. “If anyone knows this man let me know because he looks f—ing crazy,” she states at the start of her post before going on to explain what happened.

She says she pulled up at her home “past 2AM,” she got in, locked the doors as usual and got herself ready for bed. Melody then received a notification from her camera app at 2:51AM saying “motion detected” which usually means someone is outside the door. Of course, at this time of night there should not be anyone out there, at least, anyone with good intentions.

The app Melody uses requires a subscription to play back the footage but she did manage to save a photo of who, or what was outside. What she saw was terrifying, and it was right outside her door.

That face, with the single disturbing dark eye and the mouth agape is enough to put anyone off of sleep. Considering this cryptid-looking creep was right outside Melody’s home at 3AM maybe she should have considered calling the police.

TikTok is horrified

People in the comments were rightfully horrified by the scary appearance of the individual who was captured on the door camera. Many commented how the person looked “deceased” or “like a ghost.” Others told Melody that this was her sign to pay for a subscription to the door cam app so she could get a video of the stranger for the police.

Some commenters accused Melody of being the strange man and faking the whole thing. In a second video she put that theory to bed explaining that she wasn’t tall enough to get her face in the camera the way the man did. She also claimed that her door cam seemed to be more active at night, “it’s constantly motion detected, motion detected, so much, but when I look there’s nothing there.”

It seems Melody was able to scare the man away this time with a smart tactic. She played a YouTube video of a man through the microphone to hopefully trick the intruder into believing she wasn’t alone and that there was a man in the house as well. She’s stated she’s also getting an SD card and asked viewers to bear with her. We’ll have to wait and see if she comes back with anymore disturbing updates.
