Florida woman filmed making a racist remark and threatening to call ICE on a man who had been hit by a car

A video recorded in Clearwater, Florida, is circulating online after a woman was filmed threatening to call ICE and using a racial slur against a man she hit with her car.

The incident was posted on X by @LongTimeHistory and shows the aftermath of a collision where a scooter became trapped under a vehicle. The footage appears to have originated on TikTok and lasts just over a minute. According to The Nerd Stash, the video captures a heated exchange following the collision. Even though the scooter is clearly appears to be under the car, the woman immediately tries to deflect blame, claiming, “It’s a scam,” and insisting that the man on the scooter set her up. Then she shifts to threats, claiming to be a lawyer and telling him she can have him deported “back to China.”

The woman also uses a racial slur during the argument. There has been no independent confirmation of the identities of the woman, the man on the scooter, or any law enforcement officers who may have been involved. It is also unclear whether police were already on their way to the scene when the video was recorded.

A bystander intervenes and pushes back against the driver’s comments

A bystander stepped in to challenge the woman during the exchange. The bystander told her, “It doesn’t matter if he’s a citizen or not. That’s really racist for you to say you should get deported.” The bystander also accused the driver of being under the influence, saying, “You’re completely intoxicated, and you’re drunk. Get back in the car.” However, no evidence in the video confirms whether the woman was actually intoxicated. 

The bystander further pointed out that the man on the scooter had difficulty speaking English and was being ridiculed by the group, despite having just been hit by a car. ICE has been at the center of several high-profile confrontations recently, including an incident where a U.S. senator was pepper-sprayed by ICE agents during an operation in New Jersey.

The video drew a significant reaction online, with many users expressing frustration over the use of immigration threats during everyday conflicts. One user commented, “Always wanting to call ICE when they use them to do work and then don’t want to pay, and now hitting someone and threatening to call ICE on the person she hit and saying racist s—.”
