Man grabs a $6 clock from Goodwill. He is shocked when strangers follow him to his truck and offer him 1,500% more: ‘This is insane’

A TikTok user who goes by @thickdad86 struck gold at a local thrift store after purchasing a wooden clock for just six dollars. He shared the discovery in a video after realizing the vintage timepiece was stuffed with stacks of cash.

Right after leaving the shop, he was approached by eager onlookers in the parking lot who offered him $100 for the clock. “I bought this clock at the Goodwill for $6, these people followed me outside and told me they would give me $100 for the clock,” the creator explained on-screen. Unaware of what was hidden inside, he declined their offer, got into his truck, and opened the back door of the clock case to see what the fuss was about.

Opening the back panel revealed that the compartment was packed with stacks of paper currency. Hidden treasures have surfaced in secondhand purchases before, though few are as surprising as this one. Still sitting in his vehicle just steps away from the store entrance, the creator recorded his immediate disbelief while pulling thick wads of cash out of the compartment right in front of his young child.
