Ohio woman sleeps in the same room as her ex’s siblings. Then they try to turn the family tradition into something inappropriate: ‘starts to kiss me’

Nicknamed "Quinoa" for a reason.

Family traditions are supposed to create happy memories. Ohio TikTok creator Kristen says her first Christmas with an ex-boyfriend’s family gave her one she’d rather forget.

Kristen shared the experience as part of her ongoing Crazy Ex from Hell series on TikTok, where she revisits moments from a past relationship that she says still stand out years later. In the latest installment, she described spending Christmas Eve with his family, who had a long-standing tradition of having all the children sleep in the same room before opening presents together the following morning.

According to Kristen, she had only recently turned 20 while her boyfriend was 19, so both were still included in the tradition alongside his younger siblings. For the story, she gives her former boyfriend the nickname “quinoa,” explaining, “every time I eat quinoa, I get anal fissures and this man was a pain in my ass.”

She said she and her boyfriend slept on the bottom bunk alongside his younger brother, who was around seven or eight years old, while his two sisters shared the bunk above.

When the holiday took an uncomfortable turn

She said the evening initially felt completely ordinary. Everyone settled into bed, and at one point she was lying against her boyfriend while his younger brother had fallen asleep curled up behind her. What started as an ordinary Christmas Eve moment quickly became uncomfortable when, according to Kristen, her boyfriend “starts to kiss me.”

“At first they’re just sweet kisses,” she recalled. “You know nothing crazy.” But she said the interaction quickly became more intense, prompting her to pull away because she was worried about waking the rest of the room.

Kristen said he then took her hand and placed it on him before whispering, “are you gonna help me out or what.”

She quietly refused, explaining that she was uncomfortable because they were surrounded by his siblings. She recalled whispering back, “I’m just a little bit uncomfortable because like your siblings are in here and your brother’s literally curled up against my back.”

She said he replied, “whatever,” yanked his shoulder away from underneath her, causing her face to fall onto the mattress, then rolled over and went to sleep. Looking back, she said she couldn’t understand why refusing in those circumstances somehow made her the problem.

“So like I’m the bad guy because I wouldn’t dork it for you while your seven-year-old brother literally has his arm wrapped around me,” she said. “He’s snoring into my fucking spine as we speak.”

For Kristen, the moment wasn’t simply about turning him down. It was about feeling pressured in a room she says was filled with his younger siblings. Stories about navigating uncomfortable situations have become common on TikTok, where creators often describe the challenge of deciding whether to speak up or quietly remove themselves from the situation.

Many commenters couldn’t get past the setting Kristen described. One of the most-liked comments came from user Henni, who wrote, “How can you even get in the mood when all of your siblings are in the same room? Some people are so weird…” The response collected more than 7,000 likes.

Others joked that the latest story justified the series’ name. One user commented, “the ‘crazy ex from hell’ is really starting to shine.”

Another viewer reacted more bluntly, writing, “Thats how you catch a case wtf is his problem”

Some viewers were already asking for the next chapter. One wrote, “I need a story time on how you left him…”

Kristen continues to share stories from the relationship as part of her ongoing Crazy Ex from Hell series. The events described in the video are based on her account of what happened.
