Over the last couple of days Eidos Montreal has been tossing out the name Deus Ex: The Fall, with the suggesting that the studio will announce the title as the next installment in the Deus Ex franchise sometime tomorrow.

Eidos Montreal kicked off their marketing shenanigans yesterday with a Tweet that read, “Are you ready for The Fall?” The studio followed up that Tweet today with a 7-second teaser video (embedded below) showing the Deus Ex: The Fall logo and the European formatted date 05/06/13. Assuming the title is not the name of the studio’s April Fools 2014 joke, it looks like we are in for a pre-E3 reveal of the next Deus Ex game.

If the Deus Ex: The Fall title sounds vaguely familiar, that is because this is not the first time that we have heard the name. Last March (shortly before the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut was announced for the Wii U) Square Enix filed a European trademark for the name, noting that it would be used for a video game. Following the trademark filing, Square Enix then registered three different domains related to the name (DeusExTheFall.com, .net, and .co.uk).

Outside of the trademark and domains, there has not been any leaked information on what Eidos Montreal has planned for Deus Ex: The Fall. Give us your best guess in the comments below, and we will let you know as soon as Square Enix pulls back the curtain tomorrow.
