With the November 15th launch of the PlayStation 4 coming up fast, Sony ramped up their marketing efforts this week by shipping demo units of the next-gen console out to select retailers.

The PlayStation 4 demo kiosks — which started to ship out yesterday — will arrive in “select Sony Stores” first, before spreading out to GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and various other retailers “in the coming weeks.” Before you go rushing out the door to hit up your favorite brick and mortar video game retailer for some early hands-on time with the PlayStation 4, Sony suggests that you use their official locator to find the nearest kiosk in your area.

Those fortunate enough to be included in the initial wave of PlayStation 4 demo stations (which does not include yours truly, since there apparently isn’t a kiosk within 100 miles of my location) will be able to check out the following next-gen games; Knack, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, FIFA 14, Contrast, Super Motherload, and Pinball Arcade. More importantly, they will also be able to wrap their thumbs around the slick new DualShock 4 controller.

Do you plan on checking out a demo station? Let us know in the comments below.
