The folks at Schmoes Know are back with another exclusive rumor. Last time we heard from them they were reporting on the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. This time, they’re dropping news about Warner Bros./DC’s hotly anticipated Batman vs. Superman.

We’ve all heard murmurings of a possible Wonder Woman appearance in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, right? That’s nothing new. In fact, last week internet rumors pointed towards actress Jaimie Alexander being up for the role. Today though, we’re hearing of another candidate who is testing for the part: Olga Kurylenko.

Of course, this isn’t confirmed, but Schmoes Know is citing a “very reliable” insider as the source for their info. Though I have no doubt at this point that Wonder Woman will indeed have a role in the film, I’m not too inclined to take this piece of news, or the bit about Alexander, as fact just yet.

Kurylenko is an actress who has been trying to break out for years now, starting with 2008’s Quantum of Solace. From there she scored roles in Terrence Malick’s To The Wonder and the recent Tom Cruise sci-fi flick Oblivion, among others. Despite all that, she’s still not a household name just yet and certainly isn’t a box office draw.

Then again, Alexander is smaller name than Kurylenko and apparently she’s testing for the role too, so who knows? Maybe that’s the type of actress that the studio wants for the part of Wonder Woman. Maybe they’re not going after a big name.

Like I said, I’m sure that Wonder Woman will be included in Batman vs. Superman but for now, I’m going to dismiss all of these casting rumors. Now that the mill has started to turn you can bet that we’ll see a whole bunch of names being linked to the role. Until we hear something official though, I wouldn’t get too excited.

Tell us, would you like to see Olga Kurylenko take on the role of Wonder Woman? Let us know in the comments below.
