Might Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen’s off-screen marriage finally translate into on-screen romance? That appears to be the case now that the actress has been added to the rapidly expanding cast of Baron Cohen’s spy spoof Grimsby.

We don’t know exactly which role Fisher will be taking on, but the gorgeous redhead has been rumored for the part of “a femme fatale or other comely vixen,” according to THR. As far as we’re concerned, that’s pretty perfect casting.

News of Fisher signing on comes on the heels of Pitch Perfect actress Rebel Wilson joining the film, which Louis Leterrier is directing for Sony. Though it’s definitely exciting that Fisher and Baron Cohen are sharing the screen, Grimsby will also mark a reunion for Leterrier and Fisher, who last worked together on the very successful magician crime caper Now You See Me. From what we know about Grimsby already, the pair’s second collaboration looks to be as action-packed as their first.

The film, written by Baron Cohen, Phil Johnston and Peter Baynham, focuses on a British black ops spy who is forced to go on the run and team up with his idiotic English football hooligan brother (Baron Cohen). Hercules actor Ian McShane, Homeland‘s David Harewood, Precious star Gabourey Sidibe and English comedian Johnny Vegas all recently joined the cast, which also includes up-and-comer Annabelle Wallis (X-Men: First Class).

Grimsby is currently in pre-production but is gearing up to shoot soon. Sony has it slotted for a competitive summer release date on July 31st, 2015, where it will currently go up against Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I wouldn’t expect that Miss Peregrine, to be directed by Tim Burton, will stay in that slot for too much longer though, considering we’ve heard next to nothing about a cast or when it’s going to roll cameras.
