Bryan Mills Is Back In Action Once Again In First Images For Taken 3

At the ripe old age of 62, Liam Nesson is apparently not too old for this shit. Following the success of Taken 2 — financially, at least — the Irish actor is set to don the leather jacket and use his particular set of skills once again for Taken 3, which is set to open in January of 2015.

At the ripe old age of 62, Liam Nesson is apparently not too old for this shit. Following the success of Taken 2 — financially, at least — the Irish actor is set to don the leather jacket and use his particular set of skills once again for Taken 3, which is set to open in January of 2015.

And ahead of the threequel’s release, 20th Century Fox has released the first batch of images that showcase the one man army in action.

Less “Taken” and more framed for murder, Taken 3 will see our grizzly protagonist forced to go on the run after he is falsely accused of homicide. In an interview with USA Today, Nesson himself spoke briefly about the plot, which will see the return of Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen.

“I have to go on the run, I’ll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities. Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me.”

Released back in 2008, Taken proved to be a surprise hit of the year and transformed Liam Nesson — an actor once synonymous with drama-oriented roles — into a bona fide action hero. Inevitably, the success of the film drove a sequel into production and even though Nesson claimed that the franchise would stop after the second outing, here we are at Taken 3.

Nevertheless, Nesson spoke highly of the film’s premise during the interview, and claimed that this is the curtain call for the series.

“It’s a rollicking good story,” Neeson said. “But I think this is the end.”

Taken 3 will hit theaters on January 9th, 2015. In the meantime, be sure to check out the gallery below to see Bryan Mills back in action.
