At this stage in the game, Netflix and binge-watching are synonymous. The ever-popular streaming service has not only dramatically altered the ways in which we consume content — publishing a full season all in one go, for instance — but they’re also responsible for impromptu TV marathons that often stretch into the early hours.

Now, it looks as though that trend is set to continue, as the on-demand service has announced plans to bring us all ten seasons of Friends starting in January, 2015. According to a report by TV Line, the content will be available for Netflix subscribers in North America and Canada, and the company plans to show air several episodes that never made it onto television — including the thread where Joey and Rachel (try) to become a couple.

With 236 episodes to choose from, viewers will be spoilt for choice as they look to relive the adventures of Joey, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe as they adjust to life in the Big Apple.

Spanning a full ten seasons, Friends originally hit the airwaves back in 1994; a time when acid wash jeans and shiny track jackets were all hip and happening. Since that time, the show — written and produced by Kevin S. Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane — went from strength to strength. So much so, that come 2004, the series finale was viewed by a staggering 52.5 million people. For perspective, The Walking Dead’s recent turn mustered 31% of that figure on Sunday.

All ten seasons of Friends will be available starting January 1st, 2015 for Netflix subscribers in North America and Canada. I mean, what better way to usher in the New Year with direct access to over 80 hours of sitcom goodness, right?
