Earlier this week, Krewella posted a cryptic message on their Facebook page, promising fans that they’d have some big news come Sunday night. As we all expected, the girls dropped a new single on us and have made it available on their website to download for free.
Titled “Say Goodbye,” the track is a direct response to the trouble they’ve been going through due to the lawsuit filed against them by former band member Kris Trindl. With some harsh lyrics and their signature drum and bass vibe, the message that Yasmine and Jahan are sending with this song is loud and clear. And that’s that they won’t back down and that Kris won’t be getting his way.
The internet has responded with mixed feelings to this one, but I’m really enjoying it so far, and it’s definitely an interesting way to address everything that’s going on in their lives right now.
