Runaway With Dillon Francis’ New Remix Of Galantis’ Hit Song

Before he closes off what has arguably been the biggest year of his career, Dillon Francis has one more treat for his fans: a remix of Galantis' hit single, "Runaway (U&I)." The progressive house track has been a huge success, with several big names hopping on board to give it their own spin (most notably, Kaskade). With Francis' version, we get a trap-y twist on the song, which still keeps those high pitched vocal stems in tact.

Before he closes off what has arguably been the biggest year of his career, Dillon Francis has one more treat for his fans: a remix of Galantis’ hit single, “Runaway (U&I).” The progressive house track has seen a ton of success already, with several big names hopping on board to give it their own spin (most notably, Kaskade). But with Francis’ version, we get what could be the best take on the song yet.

With his remix, Dillon presents to us a more trap-y sounding tune. The DJ keeps those high pitched vocal in tact, albeit sped up a bit, and throws in an extra drop or two to make it more festival ready. What he’s done here is definitely interesting, and certainly gives the tune a fresh sound. In fact, I don’t think that it would be a stretch to say that this is one of the better remixes I’ve heard all year and is yet another impressive production from the always reliable DJ.

Check out Dillon Francis‘ take on “Runaway (U&I)” below and let us know what you think of it in the comments section.
