It was rumored for some time, but earlier this week we learned that Rockstar Games had indeed pushed the release date of Grand Theft Auto V on PC, with the studio’s monumental open-world title now due to arrive on March 24 rather than the end of this month.
Understandably, fans were left frustrated, though the studio has made a move to offer compensation for the postponement by gifting a free Rockstar game to those that pre-order the PC version before its released. This offer is only valid through the Rockstar Warehouse website, but the selection of software is certainly worthy of your attention and includes some of the studio’s biggest hitters over the last ten years.

This offer will include a stash of in-game cash — $1 million, to be specific — split across the single-player and Grand Theft Auto Online components evenly at $500k a piece. Moreover, those who pre-order before February 1 will be entitled to an additional $300k on top of those aforementioned perks. As for the free game, we understand that players will be asked to place a non-refundable 15 per cent deposit down ahead of time, with the remaining sum of money coming out when the port launches in March.
At long last, Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V will arrive for PC on March 24, with the addition of the multiplayer-centric heist missions expected in the weeks prior.
