Paul Feig is hard at work shooting the Ghostbusters reboot for Sony, and though a few set photos have leaked out showcasing stars Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, today brings a more official reveal. The director took to Twitter recently to give us our first look at the outfits and proton packs that his new Ghostbusters team will be sporting.

The images were accompanied by the tongue-in-cheek hashtags #whatyougonnawear and #whatyougonnashoot. The main vibe I’m getting from both is nostalgia – the costumes are particularly true to the look of the originals. Given that the only other alternative I was worried about involved tightening the jumpsuits for a “sexy Ghostbuster” look, it’s a bit of a relief to see that these Ghostbusters will be clad near identically to the first lineup.

The throwback vibes carry over to the new proton pack, which appears just as worn and cobbled together as the first film’s did. That’s in keeping with what we know about the underdog nature of the Ghostbusters – one of their most endearing qualities is how they work alone without any support or funding from the government or wealthy scientist donors. Just a group of regular Joes Janes and their homemade ghost-busting devices.

Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth and opens in theaters on July 22, 2016.
