Game publisher Kalypso Media has today announced a sequel for their PC strategy game where it’s better to be evil than good, Dungeons, titled Dungeons: The Dark Lord.
The goal of Dungeons is to create your own unique dungeon to lure heroes in and eventually build up their soul’s power by keeping the hero happy with whatever it is that specific hero enjoys, such as finding treasure or rescuing others, until the point where one of your traps catches them and your dungeon lord saps the energy out of them.
Dungeons: The Dark Lord continues that same gameplay but adds a few new features that gamers will enjoy, including multiplayer for up to four friends with three game modes, Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Survival, the ability to play as some of the game’s bosses in multiplayer and new sets of skills just for the multiplayer portion. The game will also feature an entirely new, fully voiced single player campaign, a new dungeon setting, the ice crystal cave, unique prestige gimmicks and a new boss monster.
Currently in development from RealmForge Studios there was no release window given at the time of this post but with E3 just around the corner it is likely we can expect to hear more about the game during the show.
