Avicii is currently gearing up to release his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Stories, and today, he dropped a few details on it, including a release date and when you’ll be able to place your pre-order.
Firstly, the disc will drop on September 25th, but pre-orders will open up on August 28th. Furthermore, on that same day two new singles will be available to download: “For A Better Day” and “Pure Grinding.” The former is being described as a “lush, uplifting contemporary ballad,” with the latter being called a “rhythmic collision of hip/hop, soul, and cinematic sounds in an electronic atmosphere.”
There’s no word on an official tracklist just yet, but it’s probably safe to assume that most of the Swedish producer’s new songs that he’s been playing out during festival season will make it onto the album, including but not limited to “Waiting For Love,” “Broken Arrows,” and “Heaven.”
