Of all the potential partnerships and bromances bubbling beneath the surface of Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: Civil War, the one that has caught our attention and refuses to let go is that between Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Tom Holland’s new webslinger on the block, Spider-Man.
From the leaked trailer over the weekend and even the original still that appeared to showcase Holland in an early version of the suit, it seems a safe bet that the pair will cross paths in a big way. But in what capacity?
Latino Review has the latest (wholly unofficial) rumor on Spidey and his anticipated debut in Civil War, with the outlet claiming to have sources close to production that know of Holland’s new-fangled suit and how it plays into the grand scheme of things in next year’s superhero blockbuster.
