The CW has released an extended trailer for season two of The Flash, and it features a lot of major reveals about the villainous Zoom’s plans for Barry Allen. As it turns out, the mysterious demonic speedster hails from Earth-2 and is sending villains through the wormhole opened by the Scarlet Speedster to kill him. Why? That remains to be seen, as does the identity of the show’s new big bad.
Also in this preview is a first look at Patty Spivot, a new love interest for Barry and a member of the Central City Police Department. Finally, we get some decent looks at both Jay Garrick (The Flash of Earth-2) and the villainous Atom Smasher (played by Haven star and former WWE Superstar Adam “Edge” Copeland) in the trailer.

Reverse Flash), with Team Flash quickly turning their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, which fans last saw consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but will he actually be able to save his city from impending doom?
