Kick-Ass and This is the End star Christopher Mintz-Plasse has joined the cast of Flaked, the upcoming Netflix series which stars Will Arnett. Co-created by Arnett (The LEGO Movie) and Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret), the show has been described as follows:

Flaked is the serio-comic story of Chip (Arnett), a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, CA who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullshit that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel.

That’s not the most detailed of synopses, but it certainly sounds like an interesting enough premise. In Flaked, Mintz-Plasse has been cast as a character called Topher, “a tech whiz kid new to Venice and desperate to fit in.”

An air date for the series has yet to be revealed, but this is the latest in a long line of original show heading to the online streaming service (which it was revealed earlier today will soon be available on Virgin America flights, making Netflix more accessible than ever before).
