Fox has released a new batch of promotional images from next week’s episode of Gotham, and they offer up a look at many of the show’s main characters as well as new addition Michael Chiklis, who will play Captain Barnes.
The photos don’t reveal much in the way of plot details of course, but are still a nice tease of what’s to come. As season two has gotten off to a strong start, it’s become easier to get excited about Gotham now as it appears to have really found its footing, after something of a hit and miss first season which didn’t get really good until closer to the end.
Regardless, here’s the synopsis for next week’s episode:
Captain Barnes (Michael Chiklis) is called to duty to create a law-abiding task force, with the help of Gordon. Meanwhile, Penguin gets caught up in a favor for Galavan, and Nygma asks Kringle out on a date.
With Jerome now dealt with, it’s going to be interesting to see how Gotham plays out moving forward, especially with a new police captain and a devious Galavan both no doubt set to shake up the status quo of the Batman prequel in a major way.
