Vicetone’s New Track Is On Fire

It feels like Dutch progressive house duo Vicetone is trying to consistently make music that I'll have to file under "guilty pleasure." Several weeks ago they cross pollinated two saccharine genres to yield "Catch Me," and they've followed it up with the main stage musings of "I'm On fire."

This track has the formula down to a T: big synths, a memorable female vocal, and a Tiësto-esque drop guaranteed to send ripples through a crowd of thousands. Granted, it’s nothing particularly groundbreaking from a creative standpoint, but I’ve gotta give Vicetone credit for putting out songs that just plain work.

The above SoundCloud embed is just a preview, though. “I’m On Fire” in its entirety will be available through Spinnin’ Records on October 26th.
