CBS has today released the official description for the second episode of Supergirl‘s first season. Titled “Stronger Together,” it will air on November 2nd when the DC Comics series moves to its regular time slot of 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, and it definitely sounds like National City’s new superhero is going to run into some trouble early on in her adventures.
Here’s the description, while the first image from the episode (featuring Melissa Benoist as Supergirl and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers) can be seen above.
When Kara’s attempts to help National City don’t go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she – and the city’s media – has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl.
The pilot for Supergirl leaked online earlier this year and was well-received by fans who managed to track down a copy. The premiere was also met with praise following a screening at the San Diego Comic-Con, with many comparing it to Arrow and The Flash. If that’s the case, this small screen take on the adventures of Superman’s cousin could have a bright future.
We’ll have to wait and see how things go after the pilot, but based on the description for the second episode, Supergirl promises to be a lot of fun.
