Suicide Squad is one of the most highly anticipated comic book adaptations of 2016, and that’s been taken to an all-time high over the past couple of days thanks to a big feature in Empire Magazine. The highlight of their coverage has no doubt been those new images, but the story itself has a very interesting scene description, too.

Apparently, it kicks off with Task Force X – Deadshot, Diablo, Boomerang, Slipknot, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc – boarding a military helicopter flanked by a team of Navy SEALs.

Here’s an excerpt from the magazine detailing an interesting exchange of dialogue between Rick Flag, Harley Quinn and Katana:

“She’s got my back,” Flag informs the Squad. “I’d advise not getting killed by her – her sword traps the souls of its victims.” Harley extends her hand, perky and smirky. “Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha. Love your perfume. What is that: Stench of Death?”

That sounds 100% Harley, but the most interesting reveal here is that Katana’s sword – The Soultaker – is going to have the same mystical abilities as her comic book counterpart. Of course, as Suicide Squad is going to put the focus on Enchantress, this is a movie clearly not shying away from the mystical side of the DC Extended Universe (which will no doubt be further explored in Justice League Dark and Shazam).

The scene above apparently ends with Killer Croc throwing up chunks of half digested goat meat, only to then scoop it back up and shovel it into his mouth much to the disgust of those Navy SEALs.

Suicide Squad is going to be a very unique comic book movie, that’s for sure, and it’s going to be interesting to see whether this one ends up being a very dark PG-13, or possibly even R-Rated.
