New Promo For Supergirl Season 1, Episode 2: “Stronger Together”

Following that very cool extended trailer, CBS has today released a new promo for next week's instalment of Supergirl. This one focuses solely on the second episode and declares the series "TV’s #1 New Show". That may seem like a bold claim, but it's an accurate one, especially after Supergirl debuted to the Fall's highest ratings this past Monday.

In case you need a reminder, here’s a description of the episode (set to air in the show’s regular timeslot of 9pm), which is titled “Stronger Together”:

When Kara’s attempts to help National City don’t go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she – and the city’s media – has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl.

With the pilot episode receiving rave reviews, the future is looking bright for Supergirl, though the big test is obviously going to be whether or not the series is able to maintain that same level of quality moving forward.

This promo certainly points to that being the case though, so there’s no need to worry about Supergirl just yet!
