Titled “Fight or Flight,” here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of the network:

Supergirl’s powers are tested when Reactron, one of Superman’s formidable enemies, arrives in National City and targets the young hero. Also, Cat plans to run an exposé on Supergirl, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, November 9th on CBS. Peter Facinelli guest stars as tech entrepreneur Maxwell Lord.

The introduction of Maxwell Lord is definitely significant, especially as he’s a character with the potential to become Supergirl‘s big bad (in the comics, he’s caused major problems for the Justice League and specifically Wonder Woman). We don’t get to see him in the promo above unfortunately, but there are some very interesting hints about Supergirl’s identity being exposed to the world.

We also get to see Kara heading into action against the villainous Reactron, and like Arrow and The Flash, the stunts and special effects in Supergirl are so far proving to be top notch.
