Two of EDM’s most respected producers have promised an upcoming collaboration to their fans after a half serious challenge became a reality. On the 20th of December, funnyman Dillon Francis proposed to his twitter fans that if they re-tweeted his message 5,000 times he and Worlds producer Porter Robinson would team up on a new track together. Fans quickly rose to the occasion to ensure that such a collab would grace the EDM community, and the 5,000 re-tweets was quickly achieved.

Fans quickly rose to the occasion to ensure that such a collab would grace the EDM community, and the 5,000 re-tweets were quickly achieved.

Francis dropped a number of high profile collabs this year on his This Mixtape Is Fire EP, working with some of the biggest producers around, including Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Bro Safari, and Kygo, while Robinson got together with the comedic producer in spring to spoof Skrillex and Diplo with the satirical Spoon Ü project in a teaser for HARD Summer.

In a now deleted tweet, Francis described the upcoming collaboration with Porter as the “best song ever made.” As such, this is one collaboration that fans will no doubt be looking forward to.
