First Look Promo For Supernatural Season 11, Episode 12: “Don’t You Forget About Me”

After delivering a fantastic episode that very much followed the classic monster hunting formula, while also having some great moments involving the Winchesters in "Into The Mystic," Supernatural looks to bring back some recurring characters in next week's offering.

“Don’t You Forget About Me” will not only see the return of Sheriff Jody Mills, whom fans have become quite accustomed to seeing in recent years, but also Claire (daughter of Jimmy, Castiel’s vessel) and Alex, who has mostly been name dropped since her first appearance. Having all these characters under one roof should make for some combustible elements and I sense the “SPN Family” will take to social media rather quickly after this episode airs.

On that note, the plot thread to keep an eye on in this episode is that Claire has not only become a hunter, but has been attacking humans and accusing them of being monsters. Perhaps it’s her inexperience as a hunter or her teenage angst that has led to various problems in her life, although something tells me it is a combination of both. We can only hope that Sam and Dean can help get her on the right track before she gets herself in too deep or killed.

For more information, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) drop in on Jody Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes), Claire (guest star Kathryn Newton) and Alex (guest star Katherine Ramdine) after receiving a panicked phone call from Claire. She believes the recent murders in town are supernatural and wants the boys’ help. However, Sheriff Mills tells Sam and Dean that Claire has been getting into trouble lately as she’s been attacking normal people and accusing them of being monsters. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Nancy Won (#1112). Original airdate 2/3/2016.

Supernatural airs Wednesday nights at 9:00 pm EST on The CW.
