The CW has offered an extended look at next week’s brand new episode of iZombie, which is titled “Physician, Heal Thy Selfie.” Fans everywhere will no doubt tune in to see how the producers plan to followup on last night’s episode, “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter,” which provided a thrilling final ten minutes that turned the worlds of several characters upside down.
In this particular episode, Liv and Clive investigate a series of grisly murders in which the victims are missing their heads. We can’t quite tell from the promo footage how next week’s serving of brain food affects Liv’s personality, but we can see that she’s rather famished. In the past, we have learned that things do not really go well for her – and potentially those around her – when she is unable to acquire adequate sustenance.
The character to keep on eye on next week is Blaine. Now that the cat is out of the bag and Seattle PD knows how vile he is, yet can’t make a charge stick, any scene featuring him should make for interesting television. You should also expect to see Peyton in a vulnerable state since learning of Blaine’s criminal exploits shortly after he attained carnal knowledge of her.
For more details, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:
Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Liv (Rose McIver) are investigating a triple homicide, and Liv is shocked to learn that the victims’ bodies are missing their heads. A very hungry Liv is forced to consume the brain of an unfortunate social media hungry soul who was recently run over by a bus. Meanwhile, Peyton (guest star Aly Michalka) leans on Ravi (Rahul Kohl) for support, and things get interesting when Blaine’s (David Anders) worlds start to collide. Robert Buckley also stars. Zetna Fuentes directed the episode written by Bisanne Masoud & Talia Gonzalez (#212). Original airdate 2/9/2016.
iZombie airs Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm EST on The CW.
