Those craving even more Fuller-Tanner-Gibbler action have a lot to celebrate today, since Netflix just confirmed the Full House sequel series Fuller House will be coming back for more in season two. The streaming service didn’t say much, only confirming the news in a 10-second Twitter video that concludes with a vague “coming soon” launch date.

Fuller House opened its doors just this past Friday, giving the traditional series a gender-swap plot shake-up where D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) gets help in raising her two sons from sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and BFF Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). It appears that Fuller House‘s mix of old and new talent will remain intact in season two, but Netflix’s Twitter tease does mention that “Your list will get even fuller.” Perhaps the Fuller household will somehow grow even larger in season two?

The critical reaction to Fuller House has run the gamut of positive endearment to a few scathing burn-it-with-fire reviews. I sat somewhere near the middle of that spectrum. Perhaps the show can find its footing as it moves forward, but since Netflix doesn’t release viewer numbers, it’s hard to know how many diehard Full House fans are sticking around for the full season after the rocky pilot (which is putting it lightly).

What did you think of Fuller House? Are you excited the show will be making a return in the future? Let us know in the comments below.
