If I hadn't just used that "not the hero so and so wants, but the one it needs" joke in another article it would have been a lot better for this one. DJ Snake has finally released the video for his latest single, "Middle," and it's sure to speak to the inner child of anyone with a fondness for superheroes.

If I hadn’t just used that “not the hero so-and-so wants, but the one it needs” joke in another article it would have been a lot better for this one. DJ Snake has finally released the video for his latest big single, “Middle,” and it’s sure to resonate with the inner child of anyone with a fondness for superheroes.

Set in a comic book reality where random face-painted diner customers turn out to have superpowers, the video depicts a budding romance between a young hero and heroine. While perhaps not what you would see in your head the first time you hear the track on its own, the engaging cinematography certainly lends itself to DJ Snake’s soundscape.

As festival season unfolds, it will be interesting to see what else the French hitmaker has in store for his fans. In the meantime, though, listen to DJ Snake‘s “Middle” featuring Bipolar Sunshine and tell us what you think in the comments section.
