It Sounds Like Warner Bros. Has Very Big Plans For Booster Gold In The Near Future

Booster Gold may not be as popular as Batman and Superman, but he's still a character with a surprisingly large fanbase. After making his live-action debut in Smallville a number of years ago, comic book readers have anxiously been waiting on his next appearance, whether that's on the big or small screen (both have been rumoured at various points).

Booster Gold may not be as popular as Batman and Superman, but he’s still a character with a surprisingly large fanbase. After making his live-action debut in Smallville a number of years ago, comic book readers have anxiously been waiting on his next appearance, whether that’s on the big or small screen (both have been rumoured at various points).

Well, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns has now confirmed that there are plans in place for Booster Gold, and we’ll be finding out more in the near future by the sound of it.

“You’ll see [Booster Gold] very soon, and there’s talks about…there’s actually a lot of plans for Booster Gold, one of my favorite characters. But yeah, Booster Gold fans, you will definitely be happy with what we’ve got coming up in the years ahead.”

It remains to be seen whether the character will show up somewhere like Legends of Tomorrow on The CW or Justice League on the big screen, but Johns is clearly promising something big here and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Booster Gold travels through time and has been closely associated with various iterations of the Justice League, so trying to guess where he’ll show up next is impossible. Of course, seeing as he’s rumoured to have his own solo movie though, that might just be the safest bet.
