As leaked earlier in the day, besides the final release date for the endlessly-delayed RPG, a free demo for Final Fantasy XV will also go live for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 tonight. The now-christened Platinum Demo focuses on a young Noctis as he works to improve his abilities.

Although it features many of the same mechanics found in the full game, the demo is a more light-hearted approach to the serious world. Also, as mentioned before, playing through the demo will be the only way to unlock the Carbuncle summon in the full game come September.

Besides the standard edition of the RPG epic, Square Enix also revealed that Deluxe and Ultimate Collector’s Editions of Final Fantasy XV are coming. In the Deluxe Edition, you’ll receive not only the game, but also a disc version of the Kingsglaive Blu-ray and three in-game items. Both discs will come packaged in a steelbook featuring the artwork of Yoshitaka Amano.

The Ultimate Collector’s Edition, of which there will only be 30,000 copies made available, comes with several other goodies. In addition to the content included with the Deluxe Editon, this set will come with 192-page hardcover artbook, four additional pieces of in-game content, a special soundtrack, Brotherhood Blu-Ray and a Play Arts -Kai- figurine of Noctis.

Pre-orders for both unique sets of the RPG go live tonight, with the Deluxe Edition running you $89.99, and the Ultimate Collector’s Edition a hefty $269.99. You can find each SKU in the gallery below.
