Disney has released twelve official images from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and while they’re all essentially just trailer screengrabs, many of them are definitely wallpaper worthy.
Since it found its way online earlier today, the first trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been a hit with fans, and while you have to believe that there’s a risk some moviegoers will be confused about the fact that this is a standalone piece separate to the new trilogy, that’s something which will no doubt be made clearer in future trailers.
Regardless, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story so far looks set to be another billion dollar hit for Disney, so expectations from this one are high from all involved.
Set between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the plot of the movie revolves around a band of resistance fighters who unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans, and a very impressive cast has been assembled made up of names like Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed (though WHO they’re playing is obviously a mystery).
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to be released on December 16th – a date that can’t get here soon enough.
