deadmau5 And Kaskade Go Dark On “Beneath With Me V.3”

ORIGINAL STORY: When two electronic music titans as big as deadmau5 and Kaskade keep you waiting on a track, you can rest assured that the final product will be something special.

It’s been almost a year since the ‘mau5 shared an update of their long-awaited collaboration, “Beneath With Me,” but the third, and presumably final, version of the track does not disappoint.

deadmau5 appears to have backtracked from what additions he made to the second version of the song as V.3 resumes where the first version left off. To our delight, it goes in an unexpected direction: A dark, introspective techno groove that still retains just enough melody to fit well in either artist’s discography.

While the timing of it is a bit strange, deadmau5 and Kaskade’s “Beneath With Me V.3” is one of the most respectable stylistic syntheses we’ve seen so far this festival season. After checking it out, be sure to let us know what you think by commenting below.
