Hardwell is known for releasing massive dance anthems in the style of big room and electro-house, but the Dutch producer is getting ready to embrace a new sound for an upcoming single with garage vocalist Craig David. The singer made a name for himself at the turn of the millenium as a vocalist on several dance hits and there seems to be renewed interest in him in recent years.
In “No Holding Back,” Hardwell explores some retro UK garage vibes to compliment the R&B stylings of Craig David’s characteristic crooning. Dropping the repetitive rhythms of big room, the superstar DJ works in the staccato bass hits of Deep House, bringing a fresh element to his production.
“No Holding Back” was originally debuted at Ultra Miami this year, with Craig David joining Hardwell on stage for a live rendition of the collaboration. With no word on an official release date yet though, we’ll just have to make do with the preview above.
