It’s not exactly news that Insomniac Events was planning to go all out on the 2016 edition of Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Company founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella recently revealed some of the modifications made to the music festival’s Kinetic Field and Neon Garden stages, and now he’s taken to social media to do the same for Circuit Grounds.

Recent incarnations of the Circuit Grounds structure share common elements – a massive canopy from whose ceiling LED-paneled sculptures lower down until they’re nearly within audience members’ reach. However, it’s hard to imagine that being the case this year in light of what Rotella tweeted:

It’s hard to to fathom a structure three times as big as last year’s Circuit Grounds that still features the same scaffolding and installations, so it stands to reason that the stage will adopt more of the open-air layout of stages like Kinetic Field and Cosmic Meadow. Then again, this is EDC‘s 20th anniversary we’re talking about, so you never know what Insomniac might have in store for us.
