A gravelly bass line is accompanied by a crisp synth melody early on, as the arrangement builds up layer by layer. Unlike typical progressive house tracks that cater to the short attention span of entry-level music fans, the song follows a gradual, tasteful transition before opening up into a high-energy, main stage-friendly section.

At this point, it’s unclear whether Ansolo has decided to stick with his stage name instead of releasing music as Ansel Elgort, but for what “Yin Yang” is, the shoe certainly fits.
