The jury’s still out on just how big a role Hiddleston holds in Taika Waititi’s galactic actioner, though the sheer fandom that Loki tends to attract leads us to believe that, even if Hiddleston only has a few scenes opposite Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk – the latter of whom recently wrapped up his own work on the Aussie set – we’re sure Marvelites will look forward to Loki’s return nonetheless.

After all, much like Hulk and Thor, Marvel’s God of Mischief was placed firmly on the sidelines for Captain America: Civil War, so there’s a real crackle of excitement going into next year’s Ragnarok.

He’s back!
