Avicii Will Play His Last Show This Sunday

Ever since Avicii announced his intent to retire from touring earlier in the year, the dance music community has been quietly counting down the shows until his last as fans desperately tried to squeeze in as many of his final sets as they could before it was too late. Now the time has finally come for the famed progressive house producer to call it quits on the live front, as his final performance will go down this weekend in Ibiza.

Avicii was thrust into the spotlight six years ago with hits like “Seek Bromance,” and would later go on to crossover into the mainstream with his 2013 effort True, which featured the juggernaut single “Wake Me Up.” However, the life of a touring DJ took a toll on Avicii’s well being, and the Swedish producer has been pretty vocal about his reasoning to leave that lifestyle behind.

Avicii‘s final live show will go down at Ushuaïa Ibiza this Sunday, August 28. You can still grab tickets for the performance here and witness the grand finale of one of EDM’s biggest stars before he hangs up the towel.
