After a relatively quiet release schedule as of late, Klingande is back with a new tropical flavored single. The French producer broke a lengthy release hiatus at the beginning of the year with “Losing U,” and now fans have some new material to groove to with the release of “Somewhere New” featuring M-22 this week.
“Somewhere New” is in the same vein as Klingande’s usual tropical material, with its heavy presence of organic instrumentation and carefree island vibes. The producer’s latest effort opens quietly with a serene guitar passage and airy female vocals. House beats soon work their way into the mix, while offbeat piano chords push the track up towards melodic drops, with shuffled hand percussion, transformed vocal samples and catchy guitar phrases.
It’s nice to hear some new material from Klingande, who delivers another strong effort here with all the breezy production points we’ve come to expect from him.
