The soon to be released collab is titled “Steam Train” and follows in line with the retro underground vibe commonly explored under the HI-LO project, with rumbling hand percussion layered over pounding kicks and offbeat hi-hats. The preview runs around two minutes long, focusing largely on the intricately layered rhythms, as a staccato pan flute melody takes over before the teaser cuts to silence.

Oliver Heldens and Chocolate Puma offer up a lengthy glimpse at their joint effort and we’re excited by what we hear in the preview. The intense grooves coupled with an ominous melody sets the track apart as a hypnotic house banger with a unique production.

“Steam Train” is slated for release on September 19 via Heldeep Records.
