JoJo Links Up With Remy Ma In New Track “FAB.”

A new JoJo album is only a few weeks away, and while it’s still weird to even think that it’s actually happening, we’re too busy listening to the songs to really care. A new JoJo album is only a few weeks away, and while it’s still weird to even think that it’s actually happening, we’re too busy listening to the songs to really care. “FAB.,” which stands for “fake a– b–tches,” sports a style that goes well with the song’s lyrical content. Though the instrumentation is basic, JoJo’s verses have a killer instinct flair to them as she sings her ode to haters with clever lines like, “Honey, you don’t want my problems / If you had’em, you would sink to the bottom.” Meanwhile, Remy Ma’s guest spot takes no prisoners, and is easily the strongest part of the song. Speaking with The FADER, JoJo says that the call-out track is “very direct.” Yeah, we’d say so.

Judging by the three songs that have debuted thus far, it seems like the record is going to be eclectic, but won’t stray far from the formula that the artist has had throughout her entire career.

JoJo’s first album in over ten years, Mad Love, will be out everywhere on October 14th through Atlantic Records.
